Carlo Caltagirone

Carlo Caltagirone is Full Professor of Neurology at the University of Rome Tor Vergata and, for over ten years, he has been the Scientific Director of the I.R.C.C.S. Santa Lucia Foundation in Rome. His research interests are characterized by a translational clinical approach and are focused on the relationships between brain and behavior in different conditions, both normal and pathological. His work focuses especially on the oldest-old age groups that are potentially exposed to neurodegenerative diseases. See CV.
