Giuseppe Andreoni

Electronic engineer and PhD in bioengineering. Giuseppe Andreoni is Full Professor at the Department of Design of Politecnico di Milano where he is the Coordinator of the Laboratory “Technology and Design for Healthcare (TeDH)”, and professor at the School of Design.
He is also Head of the Research Area for Technological innovation in neurorehabilitation, Human Factors and Mental Health at the Scientific Institute IRCCS “E.Medea” in Bosisio Parini, Lecco, Italy.
The main areas of study and innovation are: Wearable sensors, Ergonomics, and innovative Assistive Technologies.
He was the Scientific Coordinator of the NESTORE project funded in the Horizon 2020 program to develop innovative solutions for Healthy Aging.
He is co-author of 13 national and international patents, as well as more than 250 scientific publications. Prof. Andreoni is also co-founder of three private companies, respectively one spin-off and two start-ups of Politecnico di Milano.
