Matteo Ward

Matteo Ward is CEO of Inside Out Fashion, Textiles & Home and CEO and cofounder of WRÅD.
In addition to his entrepreneurial activities, Matteo contributes to international
discussions on responsibility and cultural evolution. He serves as a Food Hero for
the United Nations’ FAO and worked as a Textile Expert for the European
Commission. He is also an experienced lecturer, public speaker, and media
contributor.
Matteo is the co-author and host of JUNK, a documentary series produced by Sky
Italia and Will Media, examining the global impact of fast fashion. In 2024, he
published two books: Story of a T-Shirt with the UN’s FAO and FUORIMODA! with
Mondadori De Agostini.
His work has received international recognition. He was named among the Top 100
Fashion Innovators worldwide by Vogue Business and among the 40 individuals
shaping the future of Italy by Capital. His awards include the Red Dot Best of the
Best Design Award, the Eco-Age Renaissance Award, the Monte Carlo Fashion
Week Impact Award, and the Tao Award, recognizing his contribution to advancing
sustainability and education in the fashion industry
