Simona Argentieri was born in Florence and graduated in Medicine and Surgery in Rome. Ordinary Member and Teacher of the Italian Association of Psychoanalysis and of the International Psycho-Analytic Association. In addition to clinical, teaching and corporate activities, she ifocuses on training operators in the field of medicine, psychosomatics, mental health, prevention and neo-natal assistance to mother and child. She is involved in the field of bioethics. In October 2008 she was awarded the Medal of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers for scientific and cultural merits. She has published extensively, in Italy and abroad, both in the psychoanalytic field and in the cultural field.
