Francesco Benedetti

Francesco Benedetti is an associate professor at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, where he teaches psychopathology and psychiatry. He directs the Psychiatry and Clinical Psychobiology Unit, Scientific Institute Ospedale San Raffaele,Milan. His main scientific contributions are in the field of brain imaging of psychopathology, psychiatric diseases, and therapeutics and their healing process; psychiatric genetics; chronobiology and chronotherapeutics; clinical developmental and lifespan psychobiology (consequences of early adverse experiences, interactions between stress and dispositional factors); and neuroinflammation in psychiatric conditions.
