Lina Bolzoni

Professor emeritus, Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa. She completed her studies at the Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa, where she was a professor of Italian literature since 1997. During her career, she has collaborated with numerous universities in France and the United States of America (among them UCLA, New York University, and Harvard University). You won the 2002 Brancati Prize for non-fiction with La rete delle images [1] and the president’s special prize at the Viareggio Prize of the same year. [2] In 2019 you won the De Sanctis Prize for an innovative essay. She is part of the scientific council of the Institute of the Italian Encyclopedia, she is a national member of the Accademia dei Lincei and a fellow of the British Academy.
