Graduated in Biological Sciences in 1991 at the University of Pisa, since 2009 he has led the Molecular Neuropathology Laboratory and teaches Physiology at the Center for Integrated Biology (CIBIO) at the University of Trento. He is especially concerned with investigations on the biological bases of autism and epilepsy. He is the author of 60 publications including specialist articles, book chapters, and popular articles. He is a member of the Governing Council of the Italian Society of Neuroscience and the national coordinator of the ‘Neuroscience Olympiad’ for high school students. See CV completo.
