Associate Professor of Bioengineering and Rector of Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome. He teaches Biomechatronics, Rehabilitation Bioengineering and Evaluation and Management of Biomedical Technologies. In 2004 he founded the Laboratory of Biomedical Robotics and Biomicrosystems of Campus Bio-Medico University, which he still directs head leading a team of 20 researchers. He is editor-in-cief of he international IEEE Robotics and Automation Magazine and the Springer Series on Biosystems and Biorobotics. He is author/co-author of more than 250 scientific publications.
