Barbara Mazzolai

Barbara Mazzolai, a biologist with a PhD in microsystems engineering, is currently the director of the Micro-BioRobotics Center of the Italian Institute of Technology. She has always worked on issues related to the natural world and environmental monitoring. Her activity has been recognized with numerous prizes, including the prestigious “Marisa Bellisario” award and the Senate Medal. In 2015 for her accomplishments and innovative approach to robotics she was featured among the 25 most influential women in the robotics industry. See CV complete.
