Maria Concetta Morrone

A Physics graduate, she is Full Professor of Psychophysiology at the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University of Milan since 2000. In 2008 she became Professor of Physiology at the University of Pisa. Her work is focused on understanding the functioning of the mammalian visual system by using various techniques, including psychophysics, electrophysiology, functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) of the brain, computer models and artificial intelligence. Prof. Morrone’s work has been recognized with numerous awards and honors. She is the author of more than 160 international publications. See CV complete.
