He is in charge of ISOF institute advance material research at the National Research Council (CNR) in Bologna. Author of more than 120 papers in international journals, he has coordinated numerous European projects and is one of the nine founders of the “Graphene Flagship” project, the most recent and largest strategic research project launched by the European community.
