Professor of Neurology at the University of Milan, he directs the III Neurological Clinic of the University of Milan at the San Paolo University Campus and the “Aldo Ravelle” Research Center for Experimental Neurological Therapies of the University of Milan. In 1998 he and his groups were the first to describe the transcranial electrical stimulation (tES). He developed innovative CNS neurostimulation methods for which he holds international patents.
