Full professor of Pharmacology, he is the director of the Department of Pharmacological and Biomolecular Sciences, University of Milan. He was Secretary General and President of one of the most important International Societies in the field of Neuropsychopharmacology: CINP (Collegium Internationale Neuropsicho pharmacologicum). He has won several international research awards and has published 451 papers in international peer-reviewed journals and has coordinated the publication of 50 books on neuro-psychopharmacological topics.
