Giorgia Silani, Assoc. Prof., Department of Clinical and Health Psychology, University of Vienna. “I received my PhD in cognitive neuroscience from the University of Milan in 2006. Between 2004 and 2006 I worked at the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience, London, under the supervision of Prof. Uta Frith and in 2007 at the Centre for Social Neuroscience and Neuroeconomics, University of Zurich, as a postdoc with Prof. Tania Singer. In 2010 I moved to the International School for Advanced Studies, Trieste, as an independent group leader. Since 2014 I have been working at the University of Vienna where I head the Clinical Social Neuroscience Unit (CSN). My main research focus lies in the neurobiological basis of social cognition, emotions, and behaviors.” See CV complete.
