Full Professor of Philosophy of Science at the University of Milan, he studies the processes and mechanisms underlying the most basic forms of social cognition (comprehension of action, coordinated action, collective action). He has published several theoretical and experimental papers in international journals. He has collaborated with different scholars, including Giacomo Rizzolatti, with whom he has published a book.
