Giovanni B. Pedrazzini is Head of the Cardiology Service of the Cardiocentro Institute, of which he directed the interventional cardiology service from 1999 to 2017. In 2017 he was called to be part of the first group of 5 full professors of the newly created Faculty of Biomedical Sciences of the University of Italian Switzerland, of which he is Dean starting from January 1, 2021.
