Giulio Maria Pasinetti is Professor of Psychiatry, Neuroscience and Geriatrics in the Department of Psychiatry at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. The primary research objectives of his laboratory concern the improvement of diagnosis in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease and the timely identification of neurobiological molecular abnormalities, so as to develop effective pharmacological treatments to slow or stop the progression of the disease.
